NaTasha joined the Helen Miller SEIU Member Education & Training Center (METC) in January 2024 as a facilitator for the Homecare division. In January 2025, the position of Training and Outreach Assistant for the Homecare and Childcare divisions started. Her favorite part about working with the METC is the people! Her role at the METC allows her to make a direct impact on providers through training and outreach, ensuring they have an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience, one class at a time. One of her favorite training courses is the Nutrition and Exercise class. This course provides knowledge and tips to assist providers and their employers with better food choices and creating healthy habits. Her passion for wellness extends beyond METC, as seen in her vending machine business focused on healthier snack and beverage options.
Balancing her work with family, advocacy for her mother and personal interests like biking, swimming, traveling and word games, NaTasha embodies her motto: Be the change you wish to see in the world. Her dedication to positive change aligns perfectly with METC’s mission, making her a valuable part of the team.
