Brittanie

Data Administrator (DORS)

Brittanie is a Data Administrator for DORS. She has dedicated the last 8 years to servicing newly diagnosed cancer patients as a patient care navigator, at Rush MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has been devoted to helping cancer patients, their families, and care givers navigate their care with ease. Her love for caring for others are expressed not only in her work duties, but as well as in her personal life.

Brittanie is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in health information management with a minor in public health. Her goal is to obtain her master’s degree, so she will be able to teach others the importance of law and ethics regarding health information and patient safety.

Her father has been a part of the Teamsters Local 710 union for thirty years and she is proud to be continuing his legacy by being a member of SEIU. Her inspiration comes from stiving to make her 4-year-old daughter, kylie, proud. Her spark for advocating for childcare costs, health care costs, and women’s rights lead her to the SEIU family because she has experienced this unwavering fight firsthand. She is proud to be at a place that not only cares about these issues, but also speaks on them. She is excited to be a small part of the “MIGHTY METC” team and hopes to make a difference for its members.
