Leslie has been a bilingual METC training and outreach assistant for 2 years. She works in the Child Care division and Home Care division. Her favorite part working with METC is truly helping the members complete their trainings enabling to elevate their skills and knowledge. Leslie’s favorite trainings are “Brining Books to Life” and “Yoga and Mindfulness for Children”.

She is passionate about helping to be an outlet where educators could work on their professional development or network with other providers to better their quality of care in the benefit of the children. Before working with METC, Leslie was an early childhood teacher for 9 years. She also has 2 years of being a childcare center director. Leslie has earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and Associates in Arts. She is currently working on getting her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education.

When Leslie is not working, she enjoys her time indoors relaxing while watching movies. Whenever possible she also loves to travel.
