Dr. Makeba is a dynamic training expert and transformational leader with over 15 years of experience equipping individuals and organizations with strategies to thrive. Specializing in leadership development, business strategy, supplier diversity training, and strategic execution, she has excelled at crafting innovative solutions for corporate, non-profit, educational, and public sector audiences.

With roles as a public and higher education practitioner, Program Director, Deputy Director, and entrepreneur, Dr. Makeba is passionate about fostering growth and aligning professionals with their unique strengths to achieve meaningful success. Dr. Makeba gets excited about working in solidarity to ensure that our program remains to be the number one training resource for home health and child care workers.

Originally from Florida and now rooted in Chicago with her husband and fur kid- Milo, Dr. Makeba holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Concordia University. Her mission is to inspire transformative change and equip others to excel personally and professionally.
