Maribel has served with SEIU METC since 2022. She started as is Data Administration in the Child Care Division and in 2024 has been promoted to Program Assistant. Maribel’s tasks include processing stipend payments, post class attendance, answering inquiries, and communicating with Child Care members. Family Child Care Educators the importance in receiving their stipend payments is to build up their workforce/professional development. Training that Maribel has received is Microsoft Excel courses and Conscious Ambassador of Trauma Informed Care. This training has effectively allowed her to be successful in her daily task of data entry and building camaraderie with her METC team members. She has volunteered in the Apprenticeship Program at an Activity Day.

Maribel Sanchez is a Spanish native speaker who assists with Child Care members in need. She is passionate about helping individuals within the care for children and education field. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling to explore new places.
