Milan Jackson is the administrative liaison for METC. She has been with METC since February of 2022. Milan supports management and both program teams. Milan’s favorite part of working with METC is the individual unique relationships she has with each person on the team. Since she works with everyone on various projects it gives her the opportunity to connect with everyone. Her favorite training is FA/CPR because it is a very necessary training, and she feels a sense of security having took that training. Milan is passionate about women’s rights, affordable child care, and racial justice.
Before coming to METC, Milan worked for the City of Chicago. Milan often volunteers feeding the homeless and participating in any food/clothing donation drives. Milan lives on the North side of Chicago with her 3-year-old daughter named Jersey. Milan attends the University of Kansas where she is pursuing her degree in Communications with a minor in African American studies.
