Monica joined the Helen Miller SEIU Member Education and Training Center as Data Administrator for Child Care in June 2024. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she majored in Psychology and minored in Communication and Latin American and Latino Studies. Monica’s professional background includes experience in Child and Health Care as well as Customer Service.

At a young age, she attended Mooseheart, a private boarding school that welcomes children in need of all ages and backgrounds. As a Rambler, our Motto was “Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve.” Monica strives to make a difference by working alongside individuals that share the same values and beliefs and who seek to guide and support others to achieve their goals.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching Criminal Minds, playing volleyball, doing arts and crafts and baking. Monica has been married for five years and is a mother of 2, her son and fur baby.
