Jihan Tchamba Diallo

Director of Strategic Partnerships and Grant Compliance

Jihan Tchamba Diallo joined the Helen Miller SEIU Member Education & Training Center (METC) in July 2023 and is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Grant Compliance.

With a passion for strategic planning and social impact, Jihan has spent most of her career in the non- profit sector, building equitable partnerships and fundraising millions of dollars to support economic and workforce development.

Raised by a family of educators, Jihan strongly advocates for equitable access to education and training. In her role with METC, Jihan loves hearing and sharing the impactful testimonials of healthcare and child care workers who complete training provided by METC.

Prior to joining METC, Jihan led projects for a host of entrepreneurial service organizations (Bunker Labs, The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC), 1871 – Chicago’s best-known tech incubator), The Arthritis Foundation, and The Girl Scouts of Central Illinois gaining a skill set focused on the unique combination of donor/client cultivation, organizational IDEA strategic planning, grants, fundraising project management, and membership/volunteerism retention.

Jihan holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication — Public Relations and minors in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Bradley University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and running. Fun Fact: She is a 5x half-marathoner!
