Cely Pacheco joined the SEIU Helen Miller Education and Training Center in May of 2021 as the Deputy Director. Her professional career spans from over 20 years in management across several industries including education, running an after school program for CPS (Chicago Public Schools) finance, teaching financial literacy workshops , and in healthcare, in marketing and business development. In her role as Deputy Director, she works closely with the Child Care and Homecare program team to deliver and exceptional training program for Child Care providers and Personal Assistants. “I have a passion for providing educational empowerment to families and individuals who are left behind by traditional industries.” She has been married for 22 years, a mother of 4 and a dog mom to Bernard. Her hobbies include traveling, party planning and crafting.
