Stay in compliance with food safety requirements while strengthening your knowledge of safe food practices. In this in-person session at the SEIU-METC building, child care providers will review key food safety guidelines with an instructor and prepare for the Food Handler certification exam. Participants will have the opportunity to study together, ask questions, and receive guidance before taking the exam.

After the review session, participants will take the Food Handler exam, and upon successful completion, will receive their Food Handler Certificate.

This training is free to attend and helps child care providers meet food safety compliance requirements. Please note that this class is non-paid (no stipend); however, participants will receive Gateways credit for attending.
